Allied Merchants Buying Association (AMBA) is a group of leading Independent Building, Timber, Plumbing, Hardware, Agri Trade, Fuel, Garden and Homeware Retailers working together to enhance business through the development and deployment of co-ordinated negotiation of Prices and Terms in conjunction with Supplier Partners. Formed in 2011 they have grown to 20 members with 118 stores nationwide. Allied Merchants Buying Association is managed to benefit member stores by making them more profitable.

Hardware Association Ireland (HAI) are the national representative body for hardware/DIY retailers and builders merchants, as well as manufacturers/distributors to the trade. They uniquely represent all levels of the supply chain and include within their membership ranks, national and international companies, multi-branch chains and smaller independent hardware businesses.
